A workshop on stenosis treatment without surgery has been held in Songkhla. The doctors at the Narathiwat Ratchanakharin Heart Disease Center at the Faculty of Medicine, Songkhla Nakarin University recently held a workshop in Songkhla Province to pass on a body of knowledge on pulmonary stenosis treatment using a catheter which involves no surgery.
Doctors specializing in heart diseases among populations in Southern provinces, and other medical personnel from ASEAN countries came to exchange experiences and acquire new knowledge. Moreover, those with pulmonary stenosis can receive “pulmonary” valve replacement without surgery at the center. Child patients have a good chance of being cured.
